About Jason
I became an assistant English teacher out of a desire to see Asia and to work abroad. I enjoyed being a teacher so much that my plans of only working for a year became five years in Japan with plans to move to Korea and continue my work. Now I've become an ESOL teacher in New Zealand with plans to continue my journey into not just teaching, but also being an ambassador for foreigners coming to New Zealand in general.

My ability to improvise and adapt any planned lessons was a great help to me when I was overseas. My lessons were for 7- to 15-year-old students, regardless of level. However, I'm also capable of teaching adults. I also have experience teaching special needs students and test marking. I'm used to full size classes but I'm always eager to gain experience, any way I can.
