About Lotte

Hi my name is Lotte and I completed my schooling in 2022 at St Andrews Lutheran College and am currently studying Biomedical Science at the University of Sydney with the hope to do a Dr. of Medicine postgraduate course. I prioritize preparation and organization, ensuring that each session is well-planned and focused on achieving your learning objectives. You can expect punctuality, reliability, and clear communication from me at all times. Moreover, I maintain a respectful and supportive atmosphere in which you can comfortably ask questions, explore concepts, and work through challenges. I am committed to your academic success and will work diligently to help you reach your goals.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is centered around understanding each student's unique learning style, strengths, and areas that need improvement. I begin by assessing their current level of knowledge and identifying their learning goals.
During classes, I emphasize clarity and structured explanation of concepts, breaking down complex topics into manageable parts. I am a big question fan and the more questions the better!I incorporate a variety of teaching techniques such as visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive activities to keep students engaged. Feedback is also essential in my approach. I provide constructive feedback on student performance, highlighting areas of improvement and celebrating achievements. This continuous feedback loop helps students track their progress and stay motivated.

The length of a lesson can vary, it should be catered around the student's need and what I can realistically fit in a specific time slot. Lessons could range from half an hour to an hour and a half.

My lessons can be for any school age student, I can tutor young children as they begin their learning journey all the way through to seniors in high school. I completed ATAR subjects but can also tutor more practical subjects like essential English or maths.

I have experience tutoring all ten of my younger cousins and siblings! I also was language ambassador at my school and tutored German every week. I also offered science tutoring to all students at my school on the Gold Coast. I am very adept at teaching and I excelled at school. I received a 99 ATAR and topped physics and German. I received acamdeic achievementand endeavour awards every semester and always strived to improve. I love working with people and am very good with students of all learning backgrounds.
