Teaching fraction withthe live example of cake , fruits etc for Better visualisation and understanding of the concept... Eg . One apple cut into 9 pieces is to be divided between 3 children = concept of simplefraction ... Eah child gets 3 pieces 3/9 = 1/3 share of the apple...
One apple cut into 9 pieces , an orange containing 9 pieces and a toffee out of 5 toffees will be divided as = 3/9+3/9+1/5 for the first child =39/45= 13/15... Mixed fraction
