I love to spend time in the outdoors and I have spent a majority of my professional career in Wilderness Areas throughout the United States performing my work. I have a deep passion for Ecology/Biological sciences and how humans relate to the environment. I hope to inspire others to feel passionate about our planet and grow into their careers and life beyond schooling.

I teach through various methods dependent on how the student learns best: visual, acoustic, assignments, conceptual, etc. I will figure out what works best for you and develop lesson plans catered to an individuals best learning environment.
A typical lesson plan will consist of the student providing me with most recent material and then teaching/helping student through said material as well as any additional information I think is relevant to the topic learned.
As a tutor you can expect me to go beyond teaching only required material and develop your ability to think through concepts and grasp a larger understanding of the topic at hand. I will help you feel inspired and excited about Science!
My lessons are for students middle school aged to undergraduates taking 500 level courses in Biology or Environment. I specialize in Ecology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Botany and Zoology, but can teach a broad range of coursework.
