About Arun
I am a Graduate-Entry Medical student at the University of Southampton. My first degree was in Biochemistry at the University of Manchester. I wish to teach to be able to give someone else the benefit of the educational knowledge and understanding I have learnt over the years, in order for them to reach their full potential. As well as knowledge, I wish to help them achieve the skills to revise and exam prep. I find the role fulfilling and hope to dedicate myself to any potential students who may kindly seek my assistance.

The best way to succeed in a particular topic is to have a good understanding of the material. This provides a framework and foundation for all future learning. This is the teaching approach I pride myself on. I have had previous experience of teaching fellow students in Biochemistry, leading to great success and improvements in their understanding. Lessons are 60 mins and tailored towards students at GCSE, A level and University students. Subjects include Biology and Chemistry.

My son is in year 10 preparing for his GCSE and has taken triple science. Arun is teaching him Biology, Chemistry and Physics and is always prepared for the lesson in advance - he reviews any work that is sent through prior to the call. A combination of homework, curriculum and exams are covered in the lesson and this has definitely helped my son grow in confidence in science.
