About Grace

I’m a current Graduate Entry Medical student on the Accelerated course at Newcastle university. After having survived the first 2 years in 1 I’m in my 3rd year and am really enjoying it.

I have had a lot of experience applying to Medicine, and am happy to admit that in my first year applying I was knocked out due to a poor UCAT score, however due to this I found out how to improve my weaker areas, and ended going from a score of 2760 to 3030 and in the top 4% of the UK. I hope to teach you the same tips and tricks and see your score improve too!

I was accepted into all 4 of my choices, including 3 graduate course (Newcatsle, Warwick, Southampton), and 1 undergraduate course (Newcatsle), so I have plenty of experience in interviews, and can teach you everything I know about the stations, topics, and pretty much anything you might get asked. I have also worked as an ambulance technician, and a healthcare assistant, meaning I have seen first hand how the NHS runs, pre hospital and in hospital, which is crucial to know for interviews.

Throughout the application process I looked into which uni would be best for me, and I have done thorough research of nearly all of the undergraduate and graduate medical courses in the UK. This means I’ll be able to look at your results, UCAT, and work experience and help you pick the most suitable course for you. I’m happy to do any research of courses you may also like the look of.

Most importantly, I know exactly what you’re going through, and how you’re feeling. I did it twice and it was such a stressful process. I’ll do whatever I can to lighten the load and make this as easy as possible for you.
