In my approach to tutoring I am organised and methodical. I take time outside of class to prepare sessions well.

My tutoring is grounded in my longstanding love of English language and literature. Whether teaching 11+ or Pre-U my engagement in language and literature helps me to encourage and motivate, and even help students find inspiration in their work.
In my teaching I adapt learning methods to the particular strengths and weaknesses of each individual student. Tutoring over the past four years with a variety of students and age groups has given me a diverse repertoire of teaching methods.
The length of my lessons vary between one and two hours.
