About Laura
I am a recent graduate in English from the University of Cambridge, and during my time there I enjoyed writing about the works of Edgar Allan Poe, the Greek tragedians, Thomas Hardy, Shakespeare and more. I have a lifelong love of reading but the appreciation of literature came to me later. I would love to help inspire others to see the wealth of joys the study of literature can offer, while also providing a sensible approach to exam strategy.

Offering a comprehensive approach to studying literature that will help texts become accessible and understandable. Focusing on exam success, working closely with the specification to optimise results while also encouraging an interest and genuine engagement with literature.
I offer 40 minute to 1 hour long lessons, where I can either go through an exam study plan or look closely at the student’s writing to see where they can improve.
I also offer personal statement advice and interview preparation sessions for Oxbridge admission. I have past experience offering such sessions and I have also spoken at sixth form Oxbridge conferences.
