About Imrana
I am Imrana, an English teacher with tutoring experience of 5 years+ and also a graduate in History, a subject fascinating amongst the arts.
I am an enthusiastic, driven tutor who aims to build confidence in my students and encourages them to carry out independent thinking. I am always aiming to find ways for my students to access a topic, so that they are successful in reaching goals as well as personal development.

I am an English teacher and tutor in my spare time. I provide students with tailored tuition to support individual learning needs.
I offer primary school core curriculum subject English and also Humanities - History and Religious Education (key stage 1 and 2), and English tuition in key stage 3 and 4 up to GCSE level.
I maintain current knowledge of the curriculum content and assess students barriers to progression. I can prepare students with revision skills, proof-read and guide essays, prepare them for tests and exams as well as reinforcing what my students learnt in school that week.
I am a patient, positive and motivated tutor who aims to encourage my students so that they can strive to do their best, reach their learning goals and recognise their strengths!
I can quickly adapt a lesson to suit a student's needs, and like to teach specific topics my students require. My teaching style is all inclusive and I like to leave my students feeling confident and equipped with new skills whilst using their knowledge independently.
