Hi, I’m Amanda! I believe math isn’t just about numbers—it’s about problem-solving and building confidence. I’ve been helping students understand math since high school, and nothing makes me happier than seeing them say, “Oh, I get it now!”
I tutor everything from basic arithmetic to college algebra, covering subjects like pre-algebra, algebra I & II, geometry, trigonometry, and etc. My approach is patient, encouraging, and personalized—I take time to understand each student’s learning style, whether they learn best through visual aids, real-life examples, or step-by-step breakdowns.
I’ve worked with students who were struggling and helped them turn things around—one went from failing tests to a solid B in just two months by learning how to break problems into manageable steps.
