About Kalyn
Being that I am a younger tutor, I can heavily relate to you as a student! We are a team trying to reach goals together. I have had ample success allowing us to communicate freely and validate frustrations that come along with learning tough subjects. My goal is to encourage you to try new things, learn life skills such as perseverance, and not be afraid to ask questions.

I like using a variety of teaching methods, including practice problems, videos, guided lessons, and the final steps of learning- the “now you teach me” method. My lessons typically include a warmup or review, primary teaching, then practice. I enjoy teaching high school and middle school students, but open to teaching science at the collegiate level. This is not a typical, “I teach you listen” system. We are growing to work together to reach our goals!
