About Alice
I've wanted to be a teacher since I was 7 years old — I loved explaining things to my friends and siblings and seeing that moment when something finally clicked for them. Today, I teach Mandarin Chinese to kids and adults. As a kind-hearted and reliable teacher, I love connecting with people from different backgrounds through language. Every student brings a new perspective, and I'm always excited to share mine.

I teach Mandarin Chinese through a conversational, immersive approach — focusing on real-life communication rather than rote memorization. As a native speaker with years of tutoring experience, I tailor each lesson to the student's goals, whether that's everyday conversation, travel prep, HSK exam preparation, or building a strong foundation. Lesson length is flexible and adjusted to fit your pace. I teach both kids and adults, from complete beginners to intermediate and advanced learners.

The lesson was well-structured but still felt like a conversation, not a lecture. Alice is a kind teacher.
Patient and easy to understand, even as a complete beginner. I never felt embarrassed asking questions.
