About Israel Buchi
Hello future students, I am a passionate medical scientist with 13 years of professional experience in the field. My journey began 16 years ago when I earned my bachelor's degree in biomedical science. Since then, I've continually advanced my education and career, culminating in a master’s degree in haematology and blood transfusion science. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in various laboratory settings, teaching in colleges, conducting research, and diving into the intricacies of medical science and other sciences. Currently, I am also a researcher, constantly seeking new knowledge to push the boundaries of what we know about health and disease. I want to teach because I am deeply committed to sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation of scientists. I believe in empowering students to explore the fascinating world of (bio)medical science and to develop their own critical thinking skills. My goal is to not only teach technical knowledge but to instil a passion for lifelong learning and discovery, just as I have experienced in my own career. Teaching is an opportunity to inspire, challenge, and support students as they shape their futures in this dynamic and impactful field. I look forward to guiding you through this exciting journey, helping you understand both the science and the real-world applications that will make a difference in healthcare, research and other sciences fields.

Learning is easier when you are faced with real-time relatable examples. I get to know my audience, then tailor my teaching to their level. I teach a maximum of 2 hours straight as I understand that after 2 hours of interesting teaching, it’s best to adjourn if truly 99% would be carried along. I am a graduate of Biomedical Sciences with a master's degree in Haematology, with an ongoing degree in medical Research. My lessons are suitable for High school biology students, college science students and university students who need more clarification. I prefer teaching students that are at least 13 years and above.
