About Laura
I am a recent graduate from Deakin university and I want to help other students to place them in the best position to getting into medicine. I wish I had tutoring during my degree as it would have helped with accountability and consolidation of my knowledge.
I am an ex swim-teacher and bar manager, and now I work in an Emergency department. I am an novice rock climber and an avid hiker and footballer. I’m also a golden retriever mum. In regards to Gamsat, I have sat it twice and have plenty of resources to help your preparation.

I enjoy lessons that stem from problem based learning, or applying concepts to real life situations. I will generally ask the student to explain the concept in question so I can gauge their knowledge before we begin.
Lesson length can be negotiated but with 45 minute minimum, tailored to high school and university students. I am an ex swim-teacher so have actual experience in teaching.
