Are you are bored of sitting through another lecture, or tired of having to read off of slides to learn material but not actually understanding what it's about?
Biology can be intimidating. After all, it has a reputation for being a subject requiring a lot of rote memorization. I'm here to show you that there are techniques and tools you can use to boost your understanding and success in this topic.
I take an active learning approach to my classes. We will be having discussions about the topics so that you will leave not only having learned the material, but understanding the core concepts that underlie each course topic in biology.
I have experience teaching entry level biology, cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, and studies in biodiversity. My courses can be tailored to my student's individual needs, therefore I accept students in high school, college, and university.
