About Lydia
My background is in psychology but I have worked in so many different industries- research and academia, hospitality, customer service… the list goes on. I love the arts and my hobbies include things like reading, embroidery, playing with my dog, going to galleries and museums and food and art events. I want to share my passion for the English language and what can be learned through words and that’s why I want to teach.

My personal approach is to begin at the very beginning as a refresher- good thing first lesson is free! From there we can make a plan of learning at a pace the student is comfortable with and build skills from there. My ultimate goal is to build confidence and help a student realise there is nothing to be ashamed with in learning or with making mistakes.
