About Vidyuth
Academically, I have a 1570 SAT score, have got 95+ in Grade 12 Functions, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
As stated in my bio, I have 2 years of tutoring experience teaching primarily mathematics and physics, both standard and IB/AP level. In my capacity as a school-provided tutor, I've had 12 students, 8 of them being multi-year students of mine.
I have 1 year of experience teaching as a DECA executive, which is a business-focused program that aims to teach participants about aspects of finance, economics, etc. and has them compete in multiple rounds of exams and case studies roleplays. In my time teaching as an Entrepeneurship teacher, I have had 3 teams qualify for Provincials, with one of these teams earning Top 10 Overall honors.
I love basketball, playing the guitar, and talking about different kinds of music. I like connecting with my students on a personal level, and wholeheartedly believe this is part of what makes my lessons so consistently engaging and enjoyable for my students.

For high-school students:
I completely immerse myself into making my lessons as personalized as possible: people have different ways of learning, and I have learned how to best teach a variety of concepts to different learners.
For most of my students, lesson plans have included slideshows and/or written documents on the subject at hand, and a back-and-forth teaching method where we go over the material together and troubleshoot problems efficiently together.
For multi-step problems/more challenging concepts, I also offer self-made resources as part of the lessons for revision, whether it be through creating homework sheets or note documents.
Tutoring should be both an engaging experience but still not take up a student's time unduly: this is why I'm dedicated to being productive in lessons. Before every lesson, I message the student to take note of what they specifically want to go over, so that we don't have to take up class time in setting out a roadmap.
