About Zainab
I’m a dedicated and approachable Year 12 student with a genuine passion for English Literature and Language. Having achieved Grade 9s in both subjects, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques needed to succeed.
I want to tutor because I enjoy helping others build confidence and realise that English doesn’t have to be difficult or intimidating. Having recently completed my GCSEs, I can offer a relatable student perspective alongside effective exam techniques and knowledge. I tailor my teaching to each student, creating a supportive and professional environment where they can ask questions, learn from mistakes and make steady progress.
Whether you’re looking to improve your grades, strengthen your exam technique or simply feel more confident in English, I’m committed to making every lesson engaging, productive and rewarding.

I take a friendly, structured and personalised approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the student’s ability, goals and learning style. I use clear explanations, discussion, guided practice and exam-style questions to build both confidence and exam technique. Lessons are typically 45-60 minutes and focus on practical improvement, whether that means analysing texts, improving essay structure, developing creative writing skills or preparing for exams. I am a Year 12 student who achieved Grade 9s in both GCSE English Literature and English Language. Having recently completed the GCSE courses, I have a strong understanding of the exams and can share effective techniques and revision strategies from a student’s perspective.
I tutor GCSE English Literature and Language students, as well as younger students preparing for the 11+, supporting a range of abilities from those building confidence to those aiming for top marks.
