About Alex
I am 16 years old, and I like to educate and teach other people about the instrument. I have previous work experience in Summer Camps at Upper Canada College, and I was a baseball camp counselor. I really enjoyed this job, and similar to teaching music to kids, this job was teaching baseball skills to kids, in which I very much enjoyed, and I worked there for 10 months last year during the summer. I am a very hard worker and I really love working with younger kids and having a good time.

I offer beginner-friendly saxophone lessons for younger students who are just starting out or want to build confidence on their instrument. With 9 years of experience and current involvement in several high-level school and community bands, I aim to make learning the saxophone fun, approachable, and engaging. I currently play Baritone Saxophone but have experience with Alto and Tenor as well. In our lessons, we'll focus on the fundamentals—like tone, technique, reading music, and rhythm—while also playing fun pieces to keep things exciting. I'm patient, enthusiastic, and love helping others grow their passion for music. Lessons can be tailored to the student's age, goals, and musical interests.
