About Bhavana
Hi! I’m Bhavana! I’m 18 years old and I’m offering affordable English tutoring in the Enfield/Edmonton area! I have passion for both English language and literature, allowing me to obtain top grades in these (and other essay based) subjects. While being studious, I’m pretty laid back, which allows me to communicate easier with you!! I provide free snacks for all my students, as I know revising can be difficult sometimes, which my previous students have really enjoyed. Overall, I have a kind. caring and friendly personality and am here to help you, not just pass, but excel in English:)

A typical length of a lesson ranges from 45 minutes to an hour, for all ages and grades!
An average lesson analysing a piece of literature would start off by reading the text aloud, whilst annotating after. These annotations will be explained in good detail. If the student understands the text, a short exam-style question will be given at the end of each lesson, to both test their knowledge as well as help me understand their strengths and weaknesses so i know how to assist them! After a few weeks, a larger exam will he given which allows them to have exam practice.
I provide snacks for all my students which are free of charge, as I know studying can be overwhelming sometimes!I have found this technique to be extremely useful in my past experiences of tutoring, as it is often well received by my pupils and allows them to maintain focus during lessons!
