About Sunish
I am currently a part of the International Baccalaureate program and in grade 12. I am the recipient of the Excellence award for HOSA Pathophysiology 2022 as well as being placed top 3 Canada-wide in that competition. I also came 2nd place in the Hamilton Brain Bee 2021. I also contain a level 4 RCM certificate in the Clarinet. I would love to transfer such skills I have learned to my students.

For a typical lesson, I begin with an attention-grabbing math-related riddle to pique curiosity. I then delve into the day's topic, breaking it down into manageable parts using relatable scenarios. Challenging problems stimulate critical thinking and highlight the practical applications of the concepts learned. Each lesson concludes with a summary of key takeaways and a preview of the next exciting topic.
My strength lies in creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and explore mathematical challenges without fear. I am empathetic towards students' struggles and enthusiastic about celebrating their successes. Through my patient and encouraging demeanor, I instill confidence in my students, helping them overcome math anxiety and build a strong foundation for future learning.
I am excited to contribute my expertise to students in grades 1 to 8. My adaptable teaching methods make learning accessible for students with various learning preferences and levels of mathematical proficiency.
