About Aayush
Hi, I’m Aayush. I have recently completed my A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics and hope to study Economics at university. I want to tutor because I enjoy making difficult mathematical ideas feel clear and manageable. Maths can become frustrating when one missing step prevents everything else from making sense, so I find it rewarding to help students overcome those barriers and gain confidence.
As a former House Captain responsible for leading and supporting other students, I developed strong communication, patience and organisational skills. I am friendly, reliable and approachable, and I aim to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and studied Maths and Further Maths at A-level, with four A* predicted grades in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics. Having completed GCSEs recently, I understand the current syllabus, exam pressures and common mistakes that cost students marks.
My one-hour lessons are tailored to each student’s ability, target grade and exam board. I identify gaps in understanding, explain concepts through clear step-by-step examples and then use targeted exam-style questions to develop confidence and independence. I focus on understanding why methods work rather than simply memorising steps, and I adapt my explanations until the topic makes sense.
My lessons are suitable for students aged 11–16 studying Foundation or Higher GCSE Maths, whether they need to strengthen core skills, secure a pass or work towards Grades 7–9. Lessons can cover difficult topics, homework, revision, past papers and exam technique in a patient, friendly and supportive environment.
