About Issy
Hi, I'm Isobel, a 19-year-old high school graduate with a passion for Design, Engineering, and creative problem-solving.
Throughout high school I achieved strong results in Design and Engineering and developed a strong interest in product design, project development, and creating practical solutions. I was also selected as a Wavell State High School Ambassador for The University of Queensland, where I represented Design and Engineering alongside other student ambassadors.
Since graduating, I have been running my own handmade sewing business, where I design and create a range of products. This has given me hands-on experience in design, planning, problem-solving, product development, and bringing ideas from concept to completion.
As a tutor, I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities. Having recently completed high school myself, I understand the challenges of assignments.

Hi! I'm a recent high school graduate who achieved A grades in both Design and Engineering. I'm passionate about helping students develop confidence in their creative and technical abilities while providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
My lessons can help students with design folios, product design projects, concept development, sketching, project planning, research, presentation work, and understanding the design process from start to finish. I can also assist Engineering students with project-based learning, design challenges, problem-solving approaches, material selection, prototyping concepts, and understanding engineering principles taught at a high school level.
Having recently completed these subjects myself, I understand the challenges students can face when managing assessments, major projects, and deadlines. My goal is to help students stay organised, improve their skills, and feel more confident in their abilities.
