About Mikayla
I am a BCom Financial Accounting student with a strong passion for helping learners understand Accounting in a simple and practical way. I understand that Accounting can feel overwhelming at first, so my goal is to break down concepts into easy steps that actually make sense, rather than just memorising work.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and fully adapted to each student’s needs. I believe every learner understands differently, so I adjust my lessons based on how the student learns best. Before each session, I encourage students to share what they would like to focus on so I can prepare a structured and personalised lesson that targets their problem areas.
I specialise in helping Grade 8–10 learners build a strong foundation in accounting, improve their confidence, and prepare effectively for tests and exams. My focus is not only on getting the right answers, but also on making sure students truly understand the “why” behind the work.
My goal is to create a comfortable learning space where students feel confident asking questions and improving at their own pace.
