About Ellie
I have an associate of science degree with a biology designation and I have been taking biology classes for four years. I am currently studying advanced anatomy and physiology. I have informally tutored other students for approximately three years. I am very well versed in anatomy, physiology, and general biology (including basic genetics, cell biology, evolution, ecology, and taxonomy).

I have previously tutored other college students and high school students. I work to customize an experience for the student and use studying tools that build on their strengths. I encourage questions and interactivity, and I love the use of analogies to explain concepts and mnemonics, songs, and rhymes to remember them. I am also supportive of kinesthetic learning and I am willing to find multiple ways to describe a subject or concept for a student.
