About Tessa
I have 4 years of teaching experience in programming, guiding students through multiple languages including Python, Java, C++, and JavaScript. My sessions are designed to make coding engaging and practical. I use real-time coding demonstrations to explain everything from basic loops to advanced algorithms. Debugging is always part of my lessons, teaching students how to solve problems independently. For exam students, I focus on past paper practice and timed coding drills. I encourage collaboration in my programming lessons to build skills and confidence. Students often explain their code, share ideas, and learn by discussing with me. I use pair programming and small group exercises when possible, so learners practice teamwork. Debugging is also approached collaboratively, with guided discussions about possible fixes. For exam learners, collaboration means working through practice problems together and comparing methods. For project learners, I support brainstorming, planning, and building applications with shared input. Each session balances guided teaching with interactive discussion.
