About Cristina

I have been giving lesson for 3 years to people of any age.

I was really proud when they passed all the tests. It means we did a great job.

I taught English, Italian and French to any levels. I started with children (primary school) and then I also continued with highly school students.

Hello,
I'm Cristina.

I was born in Italy, 3 years ago I decided to move here, to Brighton.
I'm a solar person who loves to communicate with people.
I have a lot of hobbies and passions, one of these is the study of languages.
Actually, Italian is my mother tongue and I have 2 certificates (grammar, linguistic, lexicology and lexicography) which prove I'm eligible and able to teach Italian language.

At 6 years old I started to study English language.
I followed courses at the Cambridge school in Cambridge city, Oxford, Nottingham and Liverpool. I passed few exams until I graduated (2009) in 'Cultural and Linguistic mediation' (English and French) and then I did a masters in 'Interpretation and Translation' (English and French).
I have studied French language since 2000, when I started the high school then I continued at the university for 5years.

My first degree lasted 3 years and it was based on the knowledge of the culture and history of a country. Language is important but without knowledge about culture you can't really understand the meaning of the sentence, phrasal verbs or saying.
After this degree I decided to improve and studying deeply the languages with a master that allowed me to be more specialised.

The university of interpretation and translation gave me the possibility to develop and increase my knowledge about English and French language.

Studying languages is a long and hard path which includes a lot of aspects: listening , writing and reading.
It's for these reasons I would like to organise my sessions teaching all these characteristics of the language allowing my students to have a great level and comprehension.
