About Helena

Je suis étudiante en pharmacie (bac +6) et mon contact régulier avec les patients me permet d'être quelqu'un de patient, de pédagogue et avec une bonne capacité d'adaptation.

J'ai toujours aimé les langues (même si je suis aussi scientifique), d'ailleurs, depuis le collège je suis sur des applications pour échanger en espagnol ou en anglais avec des étrangers.

J'ai donné des cours de français à des enfants (de 2 à 7 ans) mais aussi à des adultes (en Australie).
J'ai été Au pair pendant 4 mois en Australie, et je fais du babysitting (de 3 mois à 10 ans) : j'adore m'occuper des enfants et leur faire découvrir ma langue maternelle !

Dans la vie de tous les jours, je suis curieuse (ce qui nous permettra d'échanger sur différents sujets), sportive, et simple (j'aime avoir un mode de vie sain !)

About the lesson

Je m'adapte selon ton niveau et surtout selon tes besoins.
On peut aussi bien aller boire un verre pour converser, que faire un cours plus théorique de grammaire, de vocabulaire ou autre.
On peut également parler par Whatsapps régulièrement pour travailler l'écrit et entretenir ce que tu auras appris.

J'aime transmettre et j'aime aider les autres. Je sais que ce n'est pas facile d'apprendre une langue (encore plus le français) mais je ne te jugerai pas, sens toi libre de parler français avec moi !

Perfect! Helena is a lovely person who helped to teach French to my three young children. Obviously being a native French-speaker from coastal France, her language skills are perfect, and she is also well-educated as a soon-to-be pharmacist. She is very engaging with the children, and flexible - teaching through reading, conversation and child-directed play. I wholeheartedly recommend Helena, and wish she had stayed with us in Canberra much longer!
