The first time I met him was in grade 11 at our specialized high school. My first impression of him was that he was an excellent student, especially in math. He was also a kind person who always helped me and my classmates. He aimed to be a role model, not only by encouraging students to excel academically but also by teaching them to be moral individuals. I have witnessed many of his students grow into kind-hearted and accomplished people.
We shared many experiences, and I still remember one time when I worked with him on a scientific research project about effective teaching methods for individual students. I was especially impressed by his approach to working with more individualistic or rebellious students—he believed that we should listen to them, try to understand their feelings, and respond with patience and gentleness. I was deeply impressed by his strong moral values. Moreover, he is an internationally outstanding student and had the opportunity to study at the University of Technology Sydney. In addition, he has received numerous prestigious awards in mathematics, such as recognition as a National Excellent Student (VMO) and honors in the International Excellent Student Competition.With an SAT score of 1540 and an IELTS score of 7.5, Hieu has proven not only his strong intellect but also his excellent communication skills..
