About Carter
I bring 18 years of experience in teaching French to High School and College students, with a strong focus on personalised and effective learning. I tailor each lesson to meet the student’s needs, helping them progress at their own pace. My teaching combines grammar, speaking practice, and cultural understanding to make lessons engaging and meaningful.
I am skilled at simplifying difficult concepts and helping students build confidence in using the language. I also support exam preparation with structured guidance. My goal is to create a positive and motivating environment that inspires students to succeed.

My teaching style for French is simple, creative, and student-focused. I create a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and express themselves. I use creative activities like role plays, discussions, and visual learning to make lessons engaging.
I also encourage critical thinking by helping students understand the “why” behind grammar and usage. This helps them apply their knowledge confidently. As a mentor, I guide students step by step and provide continuous support and motivation.
I maintain accountability by setting clear learning targets, assigning regular work, and reviewing progress. Along with French, I can teach related subjects to give students a complete learning experience. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, effective, and meaningful.
