About Glory
I would like to begin by commending you for even considering tutoring. That lets me know that you are committed to the learning process. It can be hard to ask for help, and I’m happy you did. I can assure you that there’s absolutely no shame for being wherever you are in the learning process. I can also assure you that as your tutor, I’m determined to help you grow. Even if it takes time, every small milestone matters and deserves celebration. I also want to remind you that I am a recent graduate, so I get that this is hard. My age is an opportunity for us to connect, and even offer advice.

As I mentioned, my English language skills have been recognized on the state level. Outside of that, I’m patient and sensitive to the learning process. I understand that learning can be tricky, but will also push you to be the strongest reader and writer you can be. My teaching style is very student-dictated, meaning that you get to decide what we work on. In addition to this, I’ll also teach what I notice you tend to struggle with as a student. I’m confident I can augment your reading, writing, and literary analysis skills.
