About Ethan
I’m a passionate keyboard player and law student. I began my keyboard journey by teaching myself. I then took part in private lessons for a number of years. These lessons were valuable in teaching me important skills. However, personally, I felt that they focused too much on classical music, which somewhat took away my love for the instrument. This is why I love to teach in a casual, fun style. I’m passionate about allowing you to use your newly-learned skills how you would like. To develop specific skills in your favorite genre of music. To learn your own favorite songs!

My method of teaching is not traditional or formal. Each of my students will learn skills that they can use practically, allowing them to enjoy their new skills quickly! I will focus on how to use scales and chords to improvise and create music, rather than focusing on strict classical music theory. So if you’re looking to learn the piano or synthesizer in a casual, fun way… I’m your guy! Each lesson can either be 30 minutes or one hour in duration. - Half-hour lessons: $30 - 1-hour lessons: $50 I have given private lessons in the past for beginner and intermediate players. My lessons are for beginner to intermediate level players of all ages.
