About Amila

To be clear, I am not a native English speaker. However, I started speaking English when I was two years old, through cartoons and TV programs. By the time I started school, I was already advanced in English and started thinking in “it,” rather than my mother tongue. Being driven by the beauty of this language, poetry was like a light at the end of a tunnel. It was love at first sight and a hobby of mine since I learned how to write. By the time I turned seventeen, I had already been in three “Collection of High School Papers” and my art was seen by the whole city. I truly believe everyone can write poetry, the only difficult part is to actually open up and feel the words as you’re putting them on paper. That’s what I’m here for and I can assure you I am going to do an excellent job. :)

About the lesson

My lessons are not typical, nor do they require a textbook of some sort. I try my best to wake up your creative side, along with bringing your vocabulary to a higher level than ever. Poetry is one of the finest aspects of art, as it is used for healing your soul. I plan on providing you a key that unlocks the door to a whole new world. Together, we will walk through that world and create magnificent pieces!
