About Chole

With Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I bring a mix of technical expertise, performance experience, and teaching insight to every lesson. I begin with fundamental techniques such as posture, finger placement, chord transitions, rhythm, strumming, and tone, gradually moving into improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is taught practically, connecting directly to songs and exercises students enjoy. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace, goals, and musical interests, fostering a supportive learning environment. I emphasize technical skill, creativity, and expressive playing, helping students communicate emotion through music. Ear training, sight-reading, and performance preparation are integral to developing well-rounded musicianship. I encourage exploration of genres like classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop to broaden students’ musical horizons. Lessons include structured practice routines, constructive feedback, and strategies to overcome challenges. I celebrate milestones to reinforce progress and motivation. Students are encouraged to compose, improvise, and develop their unique musical voice. My teaching balances discipline, guidance, and creative freedom, ensuring lessons are enjoyable and productive.
