My teaching approach depends on the level. I am comfortable teaching beginners with structured instruction of grammar and vocabulary, which is then put into practice through a communicative approach. As the level increases, I focus on grammar when needed but primarily use focused discussion questions & topics to attain precision in vocabulary and confidence in speaking!

I absolutely loved my German classes with Patrick! He is an excellent teacher and is very knowledgeable in the German language and culture. He spoke primarily German during the classes, his lessons were well planned, and he made learning fun and interesting. I learned more in 2 months with him than in several years of college and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn or improve their German!
