I've been teaching german with Nikolai for about 2 years in total. During this time I passed my german exam easily and gained a lot more confidence while speaking german in general. Nikolai is a very reliable and responsible teacher. He's flexible, open-minded, and comes to lessons always prepared. We discuss various topics during lessons which are always fun and interesting. And it's great to see constant incremental improvement in my german.

I came to Nikolai with the goal to speak German confidently on the B2 level. When we just started (2 years ago) I made many grammar mistakes while talking and writing, and didn't have a broad vocabulary. We set a goal to improve gradually in all directions. All classes with Nikolai were interactive and different, we discussed various business topics and life cases did role-playing, and worked on Grammar. Nikolai always shared some curious articles and videos in German about various topics, but always considered my preferences and interests. I also wrote many essays to work on my writing skills, and the topics were not boring, which made me feel engaged. I can highly recommend Nikolai as your German teacher. Learning German with him will be a lot of fun for you!

I have been studying with Nikolai for a long time. Since then, my German has been improved significantly. I am now able to talk to locals and even read books without adaption. Nikolai is very attentive, diligent, patient and always prepared for lessons. He is also flexible and can adapt your learning program based on your needs. It’s not only productive but also fun to learn with him since he finds very interesting topics to talk about. Overall, Nikolai is a nice person and an excellent teacher. I highly recommend him!

Nikolai, is very helpful accommodation, uses an easy way for teaching, he also his own material and tools, in addition to the normal used courses for German language study. I have felt clear progress in my language skills with him

I have now been learning with Nikolai for two and half years and have done more than 100 lessons. I have been amazed by my progress in learning German. When I started I could only speak simple sentences (and could not understand replies) whereas now I can discuss current affairs and do the entire lesson in German. I have also travelled to Germany and Austria and I could actually converse with locals very easily! Nikolai plans the content of the lesson based on each individual student’s need, background, and interest. For me who was learning German as an interest, we focus more on listening, speaking and grammar, whereas for students who are preparing for exams, Nikolai will focus on all exam components. Nikolai also puts in effort to prepare for each lesson. All the hours I had with Nikolai have exceeded my expectation. Nikolai also gives short, achievable, manageable homework after each lesson, which allows me to do further study between lessons. I feel the time I spent learning German has been well worth it, and the sense of overcoming a difficult challenge is simply fantastic. I am glad that I have chosen the right and only tutor when learning German, and I hope you do too!

Ich bin so froh, dass ich schon lange Zeit die deutsche Sprache mit Niko lerne. Er ist immer pünktlich und gut auf den Unterricht vorbereitet. Er erklärt die Grammatik auf eine klare und verständliche Weise. Und vor allem, weil er ein sehr interessanter Gesprächspartner ist, vergeht die Zeit wie im Flug.

Nikolai ist einer meiner besten Freunde und ich kann ihn wärmstens als Lehrer empfehlen. Er ist sehr gut darin, Dinge leicht und verständlich zu erklären und Leuten etwas beizubringen. Nikolai ist sehr flexibel und die letzten Jahre hat er viele unterschiedliche Leute unterrichtet. Ich habe viel von ihm gelernt und schätze sehr, wie locker er etwas unterrichtet.
