About Nathan
I have been a volunteer with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History vertebrate and invertebrate paleontology fossil labs for two years now, while working towards becoming a full teacher, after having helped my younger siblings through school. Also a member of the Cleveland Geological Society, I have given story-structure presentations on geology and ecology to both University classroom and professional audiences, that have all been enjoyed and I have enjoyed every time.

I approach teaching through storytelling, as I have found the best teachers do. As a tutor, I will work with what lessons each student brings to me asking for help with, and I will ask about the goal of the lesson or assignment, and then work to assemble a structured story-like conversation with the student(s) addressing the topic in an engaging way. Increase engagement, decrease the strain and workload on the student(s) or audience. I have prepared and given presentations to the Cleveland Geological Society using this approach, and both were well received.
