Hi! My name is Maya. I am a Geography graduate and i graduated in 2021. I now work in the corporate industry. I did English language and literature at A level and achieved a high grade. I am skilled particularly at essay writing, structure and analysis, but i enjoy all aspects of English and have good knowledge of the curriculum.

I believe in students directing the areas in which they feel they need more help or confidence, these areas will direct the lessons. Identifying the best revision methods for individual students is very important to success and is something that I like to establish in my tutoring lessons, alongside lessons which maximises the student's benefits from tutoring. I want students to be involved in their learning through identifying where they need to improve and their strengths! This will not only improve their grades but their confidence which will be vital in the next stages of their education. The tutoring programme can be tailed to the needs of the student with some requiring more additional teaching than others. I will be happy go through any school work or topics they bring to me.
