About Patricia
During my college days, I was an instructor of the Introduction to Medicine and of the General Surgery departments, which gave me the opportunity to teach to small groups of medical students during almost 4 years (giving them both theorical and pratical lessons in the hospital of that university).
I was also able to advice other students (as a group or individually) that were taking these assignments.
I have a mexican certificate to give any subject in english to students in primary and secondary education.

I consider that these subjects require a visual understanding for they to be fully learned, thus my teaching method is focused to be more visual. I help myself with power point presentations full of images, charts or videos, rather than text.
Plus, if the subject is required (medical subjects only), I use clinical cases that incorporate what was seen in the lesson.
To finish the class I like to give studens a flow chart with a summary of what was seen.
Anyways, I tend to adapt my teaching technique according to the needs of each student, but keeping it visual.
