About Elyse
I am a graduate in Gender Studies and Politics from the University of Melbourne. I have tutored VCE level English and Psychology and primary school students in English. I have established an online platform whereby I mix gender/queer/feminist theory with artworks which I create. This was borne out of a desire for others to have the opportunity/access to understand key texts, arguments and theorists in the field of gender.

My teaching methodology is to help students engage in, and be excited about, the content which they are learning. I do this by ensuring I use appropriate and relevant (to the student) examples to explain theories. This has proven to be highly effective in my past lessons.
