About Howard

Sometimes I admit that I struggled with traditional schooling before a mentor rebuilt my perspective from the ground up. I see many adult learners who were failed by a rigid syllabus rather than their own individual ability. My goal involves moving you toward independence by focusing on concepts rather than just memorizing theory.

I support GED candidates by breaking down complex math reasoning, science, and social studies topics into manageable pieces. Strengthening your reading comprehension and essay writing skills remains a core part of my work with returning students. I help build the confidence required to handle test-taking strategy and time management effectively. Please reach out if you are ready to start this journey together.

About the lesson

You gain the quiet clarity needed to handle all 4 sections of the GED exam with confidence. These meetings focus on your specific roadblocks rather than generic curriculum filler.

I keep the pacing flexible so you never feel rushed through difficult reasoning or language arts tasks. My approach leans on the solid foundation I build while earning my BS Mathematics degree.

I keep things approachable by avoiding heavy jargon that often obscures simple math concepts. We address the pressure of the test by practicing consistent strategies that reduce anxiety. I genuinely look forward to helping you reach your own version of success.
