About Klaudia

I am currently in my final year of university at the Royal Veterinary College, studying BSc Bioveterinary Science. Most of my academic career and success in it I can attribute to the private secondary school and sixth form I attended, having received excellent support from the teachers there, which I strongly desire to share with others.

I have a great passion for the sciences and would love to pass this on should I have the chance!

A successful career for me would be working in the veterinary research field, followed by a career in teaching- hence why I am pursuing tutoring!

I am fluent in Polish and can use this to communicate if you prefer, but lessons will be taught and spoken in English.

About the lesson

My success at GCSE level was enabled by the use of active recall, which I aim to teach in my lessons. Depending on your aims, the lesson can consist of going through material, active recall (questions and answers), and putting together exam questions for you. Active recall can be in the form of me asking you questions and you answering, or via me creating you flashcards on topics of your choice for you to use in your own time. Flexibility in teaching is important to me, so multiple methods will be implemented depending on the student's preference!

The typical length of a lesson will be 1hour long, but depending on your needs we can shorten or lengthen this as you desire!

I have had experience working with infant, primary and secondary school children through carrying out workshops related to art, philosophy and the sciences.
I am currently in my final year of university at the Royal Veterinary College, and I am studying BSc Bioveterinary Science, thus my lessons are mainly aimed at those seeking help in the sciences, but I can offer help in other subjects too (please see below)!
I can also assist with going through assignments such as essays and helping you structure these.

My lessons are aimed at GCSE students, but I am open to teaching those from Year 7 up to GCSE level.
I can offer help in the following areas:
Biology, Chemistry, History (depending on the course and topics studied), Classical Civilisation, Art and Design (Fine Art), English Literature and English Language.

Details

Depending on whether you would like online lessons or face-to-face teaching, a travel cost fee will apply depending on your location in London.

My first class is given for free. This is so that I can get to know the student better and gain a better understanding of what they wish to learn, so that I am able to develop a lesson plan for future meetings. This will include finding out which course/exam board the student is on, their preferred methods of revision, and the things they want to achieve from these lessons.
