About Lucia

Hi! My name is Lucía and I am a highly experienced tutor with 3 years of teaching. I am a graduate from the University of Valencia in English Studies and teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I am deeply passionate about languages and love helping students develop their skills in a fun, engaging and effective way. I strongly believe that learning a language should be an enjoyable experience, combining practical communication with cultural insights. I pursued a humanities pathway in Spain, which is the equivalent of A-levels in the UK. Through this pathway, I was able to strengthen my analytical and critical thinking skills. Also, this background has greatly influenced my passion for languages and teaching.

About the lesson

I am deeply committed to understanding your learning style in order to adapt my tutoring sessions to suit your needs. I am hardworking, patient, and above all, a supportive tutor who will help you feel confident in your progress of your achievements. Experience: 3 years of tutoring to students from 8 to 17 years old. I have developed a flexible and adaptive approach to teaching language. Primary focus is GCSE level Spanish and A-Level Spanish (Literature and Language). Well-equipped to support students in the transition between KS3 --> GCSE and GCSE --> A-Level, ensuring a smooth and confident progression in language learning.
