About Sophie
Hi! I'm currently an A-Level student studying Biology, Physics, Core Maths, and Psychology, and I have a real passion for science and helping others learn it in a way that actually makes sense. As someone who's recently gone through GCSEs myself, I understand the challenges students face — especially with tricky exam questions and dense content. That’s why I aim to make my lessons clear, supportive, and tailored to your pace. Whether you're trying to boost your grades, prepare for exams, or just feel more confident in class, I’m here to help. As a current A-Level student studying Biology, Physics, Core Maths, and Psychology, I understand what it's like to be on the learning side of science — and I use that to create engaging, relatable lessons for GCSE-level students or younger. I like to plan lessons in advance so that each session has a clear focus and purpose. Typically, my lessons follow this structure: Quick review of previous content to refresh your memory Step-by-step explanation of new material using simple, clear language Knowledge checks to make sure you understand as we go Practice questions or exam-style problems, where I guide you through how to approach them Wrap-up recap and tips for what to review before the next session My teaching style is friendly, patient, and tailored to your pace. I break down complex topics into understandable parts, and I always encourage questions — no matter how small! What Sets Me Apart I'm a student myself, so I explain topics the way I wish they’d been explained to me I focus on building confidence as well as understanding I balance content learning with exam practice, so you're prepared both academically and strategically Whether you're looking to improve your grades, catch up, or feel more confident in class, I’m here to help.
