GCSE Science and A level biology: Qualified teacher and examiner, online and face to face lessons.

Amazing tutor!! Helped me achieve A*A*A!

I've known Amanda as we taught in the same secondary school for several years. Amanda is extremely talented as a teacher and as a tutor. She is experienced and capable of tailoring her teaching to the learning needs of her students, who can achieve her full potential under her guidance. Amanda is also a very positive and friendly person - while remaining professional - and this enables her to establish positive and fruitful relationship with her students, who enjoy learning and very often choose to carry on their studies at university.

I worked with Amanda as her second in science at school and can confirm that she is an outstanding teacher. The quality of her lessons are very good and both inspiring and full of rich learning.

Amanda will adapt her teaching technique accordingly and will make learning enjoyable. She has a friendly manner, making students feel at ease.

Amanda has helped my son grow in confidence and ability in Science and Geography. She is exceptionally knowledgable and engaging and ensures he fully understands the concepts. He really looks forward to his lessons. Highly recommended

Having known Amanda for a number of years now, I truly believe in her and her ability as a tutor. I’d have no problem in recommending her. Amanda has a lovely style in her teaching and gains the very best from her pupils. Thanks for everything Amanda

Sophie got into Nottingham to read History and Politics with A*AA, An A in Geography. Thank you so much

Hi Amanda, Sophie got an A in her AS exam. Thank you so much for your help and wonderful tutoring which helped her achieve that level.

Best wishes Sally

Amanda is a great teacher who listens and is a great support. I was an adult learner needing to pass my Science GCSE. She supported my learning and created lots of experiences that were creative to ensure the learning was enjoyable.

Pryanka has enjoyed the last three years of tutoring with you and is well on her way to achieving A* in her GCSE's.

I went to Amanda for tutoring A level with Biology. When I first went to her I lacked confidence and I was failing in every area of the course. Amanda didn't seem fazed by this. Week by week I gained in confidence and went from U grades to A grades in some of my module exams. She could identify my strengths and weaknesses and worked with me to try and improve.
I am now studying Biological sciences at Aberystwyth University. Without Amanda's help I wouldn't have got to where I am today.

Thankyou so much for helping Rhianna. She got 3 A* in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You helped her gain confidance in all of her subjects.
