About Sofia
I’m hardworking, organised and a motivated student who will be starting university soon. Having achieved a grade 7 in GCSE English Language and Literature, I understand the skills and preparation needed to succeed in the subject. I like to plan ahead, using schedules and structured plans to stay on track and manage time effectively.
I am committed to putting the same level of preparation and effort into my tutoring. I aim to create an engaging and positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence.

I will adapt my teaching to my students’ abilities so they can achieve their goals. I can also share effective revision techniques to help students improve their understanding of the texts we learn about in English Literature and retain key information. I am also eager to help students learn what examiners are looking for and apply this to their essay structure. My teaching strategy is to get students to understand why an answer gains marks through patiently going over the important analysis and essay plans together. I will look forward to sharing my knowledge and breaking down complex topics as I know how overwhelming GCSE English can be.
