About Charlie

I am in full-time education in A-Level level studying Maths, Further Maths and Physics.

Being a student and also surrounded by other students has given me a broad and varied type of revision techniques and exam tips. I’ve also experienced and understand the stress and uncertainty of academic learning affected by Covid and can offer the support i would of wanted when my learning was affected by covid.

Having tutored students in my lower school i quickly realised that my method of communicating and persistent to example a topic in just the right way so it clicks into place was something that not only the student understood but enjoyed as well.

About the lesson

If the stress of Covid and exams has had a negative impact on your understanding and/or learning of Edexcel GCSE 1-9 Maths, more specially second year of GCSE students, here is the chance of additional support at all abilities lead by a student who also has experienced this disruption of Covid.

My teaching style will be more relaxed and less judgemental than that of a classroom while still being the same in length, 55-60 minutes. Being a student while tutoring has massive benefits such as the age gap between tutor and student makes for a more comfortable lesson rather than sat behind a desk in-front of an adult teacher. This makes the lessons more engaging and the student eager to listen, thus improving quality of learning.

Another benefit of being a student and tutoring is having completed GCSE’s and studying A-Level at full-time education, the content is fresh.

I’d also explain other revision tips and exam tips and where and when is best to use them.
