I enjoy teaching maths, I get along with my students, and I enjoy tutoring.
I am flexible with timings, and am kind and friendly.
I always make it my priority to ensure the student fully understand what I am teaching, and if they aren't I will switch to another method of explaining the maths to them which would be more suited to them.

My methods is prior to the lesson ask the student what topics in maths they would like to do in the session.
These topics can be anything they are learning at GCSE Maths - whatever level.
I will then prepare for half the lesson to be about explaining the topic to the pupil, and if they are struggling on anything I will explain it again in a way they can understand.
Once I see that they are confident, I will find some exam questions on that topic to go through with the student.
My method is the first few questions I will assist a lot with, and then once they grasp the method I will push them to answer the question more on their own.
