About Darya
Having struggled in school myself especially with maths and physics, I quickly understood the importance of a good teacher. Due to my struggle during secondary school I was assigned a tutor who showed me how much patience and adaptability can help me understand and excel in my final grades; I wish to do the same now as over the years I have built up knowledge especially in maths and physics. I started teaching after discovering the confidence and ability I am able to bring to my students, especially as I can relate to the frustration and patience that comes with learning any subject. I want to bring students today the patience and clarity which I missed in my secondary school years.

I offer friendly, step by step GCSE lessons adapting my method to each unique student. At the beginning of each lesson I begin with a short knowledge “test” to assist with my own teaching and learn what the student will benefit from the best. Having previous students, I know that each one moves at a different pace and we work to fill in knowledge gaps as well as progress with class material. Depending on your goal, my general approach as a tutor is to ensure students build confidence and enjoy their time spent learning.
