About Tiana
Hi, my name is Tiana Daley! I'm a second year physicist at Lancaster University and I'm passionate that everyone can get the grades they want, if they put in the work! I have helped students gain their confidence and improve their test scores, and I'd like to help you too! As a younger tutor, I have been around the types of papers and tests you will sit, which is quite an advantage as a lot of them have certain patterns which, once you unlock, will help make Maths and Physics so much easier! Hopefully we can work together to boost your confidence, and your grades!

I teach students skills in order to broaden their "maths toolkit", which in turn allows them to approach a multitude of different questions, even ones they've not previously seen before. I teach students to connect different subjects together to allow a deeper more holistic understanding of maths and physics, which increases confidence, especially in unfamiliar situations. I like to use practice papers intermittently to assess improvements and help target areas of weakness. Each lesson typically lasts 45-60 minutes, however this can be tailored to suit a student. I have previously voluntarily tutored two students, each for about 3 months, and they have said I boosted their confidence and helped their grades. I have grade 9 GCSE Maths, grade B A Level Maths, grade 8 GCSE Physics and grade A A level Physics qualifications, alongside a grade 9 in English Language. My lessons are for GCSE level students, between ages 14-16.
